As much as we would all like our computer technology to be a constant servant, never having to learn a new way of interacting with it — because, frankly, who has the time? — the reality is that it is in a constant state of flux, demanding that we keep up with it.
In June 2017, our Blackboard installation was be moved to a hosted and managed modern cloud-computing infrastructure in a software-as-a-service (SaaS) deployment. This allows users to experience the most recent version of Blackboard Learn without significant downtime or service interruptions, include for future upgrades.
